As an intern, Brittany participated in projects focused on health, education, and information technology management.
Education, and Avocations
Brittany received her bachelor of science degree in health services management at IUPUI. She is a volunteer and youth advocate who places great importance on the advancement of youth in areas such as health, education, and supportive social relationships. Her hobbies include music, theatre, baking, dance, and dining.
Lauren completed a summer internship focused on management consulting. She researched nonprofit organizations, met the executive directors and boards of several clients, produced short videos, familiarized herself with geographic information systems, and visited field sites in Indianapolis and at Indiana University’s Bradford Woods experiential learning campsite. Lauren now works at the Ogilvy & Mather advertising agency in New York City.
Education and Avocations
Lauren graduated from The George Washington School of Business in Washington, DC., where she studied business administration with a concentration in economics and public policy. She spent a year as a visiting student at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. Her interests include traveling, volunteering, and classical singing.
Bryan "Xavi" Gilmer
Bryan "Xavi" Gilmer’s summer internship focused on nonprofit research and video production.
Education and Avocations
Xavi earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics at Harvard University. He is now an analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York. Beyond the world of finance, he is especially interested in issues pertaining to immigration policy reform. He enjoys music and travel. His nickname of “Xavi” reflects his interest in French and is also a nod to a player on his favorite European soccer team, Barcelona.
Nathaniel interned at Aspen Impact and then joined the community development and education team at the Federal Reserve Bank in Philadelphia.
Professional skills, education, and avocations
Nathaniel is a graduate of Butler University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in economics and philosophy. He also has an associates degree in photography and over three years of experience as a substitute teacher for early childhood centers, afterschool programs, and summer programs for children and youth.
Nathaniel's long-term aspirations are to combine his design skills, analytical thinking, business background, and passion for education, toward the success of mission-driven organizations. His hobbies include reading, writing, photography, the arts, and biking.
As an intern, Stefan conducted projects on philanthropy and design thinking.

Stefan is originally from Bulgaria. He is an undergraduate at Harvard University who has done additional work in private equity in Washington, DC. Stefan enjoys biking and hiking.
