Wei is an advisor for organizational management and performance. She has presented research on these subjects for conferences throughout the world, and has published her insights in journals such as the American Economic Review. As a traveler and speaker in the United States, Canada, China, and Europe, Wei provides guidance on ways for entities to bridge economic systems and cultures when conducting projects.
Besides her involvement in Aspen Impact, Wei teaches economic principles and applications as a professor of economics in Vancouver, British Columbia. She earned master’s and doctoral degrees in public policy and economics at Harvard and MIT.
Wei especially enjoys visiting Boston and her hometown of Xian, China. She also likes reading, cuisine, and hiking. The vibrant neighborhoods of Vancouver and the forests and mountains of British Columbia provide great settings for these activities!
